32 Weeks

So I had my 32 week check up today and will now be going back to see the doc every two weeks. Wow. That means there will actually be a baby here in 8 weeks, give or take... yikes. Actually I'm SO ready. My friend Heather had her son this past week and holding him, I realized just how READY I am to have our little guy here, instead of beating up my uterus. BRING ON MOTHERHOOD. Of course - I'm sure there will be some days when I will miss the quiet of just having him inside instead of outside.

So the docs appt went pretty well, I'm measuring right on track, with my weight gain having slowed down from the last time. Thank goodness. I'm really starting to feel the pregnancy though, kind of like being run over... I went for a walk this evening with the dog to get my energy up and honestly, feel like I just ran a marathon. Work is getting challenging, with the inability to concentrate and just feeling EXHAUSTED but I can totally get through 6 more weeks, I know I can.

Anyhoo, other than that, there isn't too much else to report. The nursery is almost finished, thank goodness, and Brian and I take our childbirth classes this weekend. I actually took myself to a basic baby care class yesterday, which was really interesting. I don't think I'll remember half of the stuff I've learned, but I figure I'll get the hang of it.
