2010

So after looking around at all of the posting that my blogging friends have been doing, I'm feeling a little sheepish. And kind of like a total slacker.

I don't have the excuse of a new house that we're renovating... (although I feel like you're always doing something or other that is "new" for the first year you are in a house... this one is no exception)...
or the excuse of having two children...
or even the excuse of being pregnant...
I have just been overwhelmed with the holidays.
Overwhelmed with the amount of family time, and visitors, and sicknesses and good lord... am I really COMPLAINING?
No, not really... just explaining I guess... to myself. :-)

So to my totally on top of it blogging friends?
You rock. :-)

And with all of the chaos of the holidays, I still can't believe that the year is over.

I can't believe that it's been a full calendar year plus some that I've had with this kid.
I can't believe that we moved, with a baby, 500 miles up to Northern California.

I can't believe that we left my parents in San Diego.
I can't believe that we moved into an awesome house that just needed a little bit of love.

I can't believe that house still isn't completely painted. :-)
Yes, my bathroom is still burgundy with hideous mirrors. I have the paint I want,
I just need to get off my butt and do it.

I can't believe that my child has stopped walking and started SPRINTING everywhere.

I can't believe that Brian is home so much that I'm kind of wondering sometimes when he's going back to work :-)
Sometimes.
Our impromptu crab feast!

I can't believe that I have made so many amazing friends up here in PTown.
And that's barely HALF of our mommies and babies. Not to mention the AWESOME dads.

I can't believe how extremely happy I am.

Happy New Year.
See Ya Later 2010!!!

Please note why, in your own words, you haven't gotten to that bathroom because you have a "sprinting" toddler. And, who cares...you're awesome!
