Limbo

Still in limbo.

Still in the damn hospital.

Still waiting to hear what is going on with his newly fixed heart that seems to not be agreeing with the surgery.

Last week, his heart decided to stop working correctly.
Flutter is what they called it.
Certainly sounds a lot nicer than it really is.
So they hooked him up to a pacemaker, an external one, to keep his heart in rhythm. To keep his atria from fluttering.

And we waited.

He's in great spirits. He's flirting with the nurses. Keeping an ear out for any gossip on the floor. Calling to let us know when his crazy roommate did something, well... crazy.

But I can tell he wants to go home. And that he's frustrated that the surgery didn't make him %100 better. And that he's a little nervous that anytime they take him off the pacemaker his heart can't get it's sh** together.

So we find out this morning if they want to make the bionic man even more bionic. With an internal pacemaker. And a longer stay in the hospital.

Damnit.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology... Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.
